Aquation has developed a range of chlorophyll fluorescence sensors for outdoor and indoor applications. Each sensor can be connected to a computer or a stand-alone datalogger.
Shutter Sensor
- measures Fv/Fm and ΦPSII with automated dark acclimating shutter (user defined dark acclimation interval)
- uses saturating pulse technique with white LED
- actinic treatments are user defined (duration and intensity)
- applies far red light for PSII deactivation
- waterproof to 50 m
- inbuilt cosine-corrected PAR sensor
- inbuilt temperature sensor
- Several (up to nine) sensors can be combined with the Submersible Datalogger for extended underwater monitoring
USB Standard Sensor (Simple Fluorometer)
- measures ΦPSII
- uses saturating pulse technique with white LED
- actinic treatments are user defined (duration and intensity)
- applies far red light for PSII deactivation
- operated directly from PC using Windows-based fully programmeable software
USB Wireless Sensor (Simple Fluorometer)
- all features of USB Standard Sensor plus:
- USB thumb-drive-like transmitter in PC communicates over 30 m (or more on request) to Interface Box
- Interface Box is 12 V DC powered (mains power or solar panel/battery combination)
- Cable from Interface Box to Sensor
USB Submersible Sensor
- all features of USB Standard Sensor plus:
- Submersible for aquaria use (3 m max) or field (50 m max)
USB Wireless Submersible Sensor
- all features of USB Standard Sensor plus:
- features of Wireless Sensor
- featrures of Submersible Sensor
Handheld Sensor
- all features of USB Standard Sensor plus:
- designed for one-handed operation using pistol grip
- trigger for saturating pulse measurement
- thmb-operated leaf clip for insertion of leaf
- PAR sensor (cosine corrected) on flexible stalk
- Leaf temperature sensor (optional)
- Cable from pistol grip to Portable Datalogger (worn over shoulder)
